Press: Thai budget airlines mull fare hikes

18th Jul 2006 in Airline

Three low-cost airlines will meet next week to discuss a possible increase infuel surcharges or ticket prices as a result of rising global oil prices, The Nation reported, quoting Thai AirAsia Chief Executive Tassapon Bijleveld. At next week’s meeting, Thai AirAsia, Nok Air, and One-Two-Go will consider raising either the fuel surcharge or ticket prices in order to pass the burden on to passengers, said Tassapon.
